Frankenmuth Michigan is located just off of I-75 exit 136. They have the largest Christmas Store in the world called Bronner's and the kids will enjoy going inside just to see the animated figures in the store. You spend the night at Zehnder's Splash Village which is a hotel just North of Bronner's with a 25,000 square foot indoor waterpark that has 2 water slides that are enclosed and actually go outside. They also have a large dump bucket of water that dumps and also a lazy river for anyone that doesn't want to get too wet, but enjoy lounging around in the water. For dinner you would drive about a 1/2 mile to Zehnder's Restaurant where they have the World's Famous Chicken Dinner's that are all you can eat family style. In the summer the Fortress Golf Course is open and it is an 18 hole course. The women can also do some shopping in Birch Run at the Outlet Mall which is only about 15 minutes away. Frankenmuth also has some smaller unique shops in town that you can walk around and look at. |
